Custom Plantings
Handy Stop staff can either fill your empty container or can plant any pot you choose from our extensive selection. Our talented professionals are ready to create a beautiful planter for any location (sun or shade).
Delivery
We have FREE delivery on plant purchases over $250 within 25 miles. Local delivery in Yoakam is free on plant purchases of $100. Out of town deliveries are available at modest fees.
Gift Certificates
Need a gift but just can’t decide on the right item? Everyone loves a gift certificate to Handy Stop Nursery available at any amount. We’ll even mail it for free to your out of town loved ones. Also, our gift certificates never expire.
Landscaping
Handy Stop Nursery can install your home landscape with your plans or will assist you in creating a plan.
Our professional staff is knowledgeable with placement of plant material to achieve success in our Texas environment. Your home and garden should be a place of joy and relaxation, and not a source of frustration and constant work. We are here to complete the landscape of your dreams.
Landscape Consulting
Handy Stop Nursery landscaping consulting brings a garden expert to your home for up to 1 1/2 hours. During that time, we can offer design ideas, do problem solving, give plant suggestions and so much more. The consultation is personalized to your needs and will include a list of plant suggestions tailored to your yard
The service is free for the first 30 minutes and, beyond that, $75.00 per hour. Consulting fees will be waived ($2 to $1) on all plant purchases made after your consultation. (Example: a $100 fee would be waived on a $200 plant purchase.) Travel fees apply & vary by destination.
Special Orders
At Handy Stop we are happy to assist you with any special plant or quantity of plants you may be needing. Some special orders require a 50% deposit at time of order and are non-refundable. Most special orders do not (please as Alan for assistance – our goal is your satisfaction and success).
Tree Planting
Handy Stop Nursery will professionally plant your tree purchases. Planting includes digging the hole, installing the tree, properly staking the tree and initial watering. Our planting guide has the recommended materials that you should purchase to optimize your success. A modest fee is charged for delivery in our covered trailer. Installations are scheduled and arranged at times best for you and there is no extra charge for evenings or weekends.
